Celebrating the life of Mr. Franklin Lewis Bode
Thank you for signing Mr. Franklin Lewis Bode's Guestbook
I wish I had known Frank better. My late wife and I purchased a house from Frank and Mrs.. Bode in 1967.
I am sorry I did not see or hear him perform.

There's a new voice in the heavenly choir, singing the songs of Surry County. I hope you have joined your old pals who have gone before and you can just keep on picking and singing.

When I used to come down from New England, to Mt. Airy I'd always head to the Folk Song contest.. for I knew Frank was always there; he'd make you welcome and get you to do your best, though he could sing "light rings" around you. Bless your heart Frank Bode, and thanks so much for welcoming me into your life. Rest in Peace.
