Mrs. Tammy Joyce Ensley, age 38 of Pilot Mountain passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born March 2, 1979 to Shirley Mae Clement and the late Donald Clay Swearingen. Mrs. Ensley worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years working at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and Pender Memorial Hospital. Tammy was always full of smiles and laughter, and always putting others before herself. Left to cherish her memories are her husband; Mark Ensley of the home, three sons; Tyler Pugh, Travis Pugh, and Peyton Pugh, a daughter; Isabella Ensley, two sisters; Buffy Haynes, and Amy (Gary) Fleming, a brother; Chip Swearingen, and father; Smitty Clement. In addition to her father, Mrs. Ensley was preceded in death by her grandparents; Nonnie and Curtis Byrd, a sister Connie Swearingen. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Indian Grove Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Barry Clement, Rev. Dwayne Byrd, and Rev, Tommy Floyd with burial to follow in the Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home In Mt. Airy.
