​Mr. Adrian Thomas Grider

Mr. Adrian Thomas Grider 56, of Cana, VA left this world from his home unexpectedly to join his Heavenly Father on December 29, 2017. He was born January 4, 1961 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Clara Delores Strickland Grider and Thomas Grider. His mother preceded him in death on July 20, 1968 when Adrian was seven years old. His aunt, Merle Strickland Harris took him under her wing to raise him along with her husband Howell “Chunk” Harris. Adrian retired from Strickland Truck and Auto. Left to cherish his memory is his aunt Wilma Bowman; and first cousins, Shirley Thomas, David, John, and Randall Strickland, Faye Draughn, Judy Webb, Eddie and Gary Bowman, Marion Hicks, Phillip Chappell, Margaret Rakes, Tommy, Dean, Billy Strickland and Joyce Decker and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Rocky Ford Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Dud Spencer.
