​Mr. Jewell Hampton Murphy

Mr. Jewell Hampton Murphy, 74, of Abington, VA passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at Abingdon Health and Rehab Center in Abingdon, VA. He was born in Grayson County on July 17, 1941 to the late John Canden Murphy and Thelma Lowe Murphy. He is survived by a niece, Bernice Price and husband Roger; a great nephew, Brandon Price; and a great-great-niece, Abigail Graceann Price. A graveside service will be held 2 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Liberty Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating.
