​Mrs. Elizabeth Dawn “Beth” McCraw Bennett

Mrs. Elizabeth Dawn “Beth” McCraw Bennett, age 46, of Mount Airy, passed away on September 4, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 9, 1970 in Lorain County, Ohio to the late William Roby and Elizabeth Kay Cassell McCraw Marshall. “Beth loved the world and taking care of everyone in it.” She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Bennett; daughter, Chelsi Bennett; sons and daughter-in-law, Dylan Bennett, and Kenneth and Jessica Bennett; a granddaughter, Lillian Marion Bennett; sisters and brother-in-law, Pam Dunning, Fran McCraw, and Rosie and John NacNac; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russ McCraw, Mark and Becky McCraw, and Vince and Nichole McCraw; special aunt, Janie Hodges and special friend, Christy Gammons and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Thursday from 12:30 until the time of the service.
