​Mrs. Carrie Sue Melton Muzquiz

Mrs. Carrie Sue Melton Muzquiz, age 77, of Lambsburg, VA, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Muzquiz was born in Carroll County on June 8, 1939, to Kelly and Abby Spencer Melton. She was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Eloisa and Rick Smith, Anita and Max Blevins, and Christina and Tommy Harrold; grandchildren, Alicia Davis and husband Jason, Marissa Tate, Cayla Tate, and Autumn Tate; great grandchildren, Madison Davis, and Ian Davis; a sister, Elizabeth Sharpe; a brother, Pete Watson; and special caregivers, Teresa Ayers, Katherine Ward, Ashley Ward, Keisha Hunter. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Muzquiz was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Thomas Muzquiz; a sister, Peggy Watson and a brother, Johnny Watson. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at the home of Christina Harrold, 287 Cedar Knoll Drive, Mt.
