Ms. Sharon Kay Bleckley Adl-Doost, age 63 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Washington, D. C. on September 4, 1954 to the late Jasper H. Bleckley and Sarah Kathleen Jenkins Bleckley. Sharon served the community as a personal care aid working throughout Patrick County. In her spare time Sharon was known as the “Lunch Lady” providing entertainment to thousands of fans across the country.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Marcy Adl-Doost of Stuart; one sister, Sue Ann Bleckley of Stuart; two brothers, Kevin Bleckley (Joanne Rojcewicz) of Sterling and William Bleckley (Beth) of Harrisonburg; three nephews, Max Bleckley, Oliver Bleckley, and Will Bleckley; one niece, Brittany O’Brien; and two great nieces, Ashland and Kayla.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. Burial will be private.
