​Ms. Linda Jane Snow Atkins

Ms. Linda Jane Snow Atkins, 72, of Pilot Mountain passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Surry County on September 1, 1944 to the late Jared Ralph and Annie Lee Burrus Snow. Ms. Atkins was retired from CF Jones in Pilot Mountain and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Kevin Simmons; sons and daughter-in-law, Daron and Kimberly Atkins, Adam Atkins and special friend Lisa Johnson; two grandchildren, Anna and Emma Simmons; two brothers and sister-in-law, Kent Snow, Rusty and Sharon Snow; an aunt, Kathleen McCormick, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Atkins was preceded in death by two brothers, Brent Snow and David Snow; and a sister, Janice Brown. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Double Creek Church of Christ with the Rev. Grant Atkins and Bro. John Snow officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
