Jill Brown

Miss Jill Dawn Brown, age 63 of Dobson, passed away, Thursday, May 28, 2021 at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation. She was born December 12, 1957 in Surry County to the late Abraham Lincoln Brown and the late Dot Snow Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Neil Lee Brown. Before her illness, Jill worked at the Lantern Restaurant in Dobson. She is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, Ricky Lee and Judy Brown and Terry Brown; and a niece, Brandy Brown. There will be a graveside service conducted Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery. There will be no formal services conducted at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy NC 27030, or to the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, C/O Glenda Wingler 4343 Correlius Rd. East Bend, NC 27018.  Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Brown family.
