Aaron Keith Dowell

Mr. Aaron Keith Dowell, 43, of 763 North Franklin Road, Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born January 29, 1967, in Surry County, to Raymond Donald and Nelba Leftwich Dowell. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his parents, Raymond Donald and Nelba Leftwich Dowell of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Stephen Dowell of Mount Airy; and two brothers, Donald Dowell and Jeffrey Dowell, both of Mount Airy. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 18, 2010, at Dowell Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Billy Moore officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made toward Mr. Dowell's funeral expenses at Moody Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
