Adair Johnson

Ms. Adair Johnson, 57, of Dobson, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday September 25, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Surry County on July 8, 1949 to Clarence and Irene Whitaker Johnson. Ms. Johnson was employed with the Social Services Department and a member of Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her parents, Clarence and Irene Whitaker Johnson; a daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Bryan Cox of Mt. Airy; a son and daughter-in-law Monty and Jodi Southern of Dobson: three grandchildren Meredith Cox, Avery Cox and Aubrey Southern; a sister Kim Johnson of Dobson; a brother and sister-in-law Eugene and June Johnson of Maggie Valley, NC. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson is serving the Johnson family.
