Mr. Adam Dewayne Marion, age 33, of Dobson, NC passed away at his home on Wednesday April 25, 2018. He was born in Surry County to Sandra Key Hodges and Richard Dewayne Marion. He was a Welder.  He loved playing the drums and electric bass guitar. 

Surviving are his children, Mya Denise Marion, Kayleigh Shae Marion, Adalyn Danielle Marion, Joseph Richard Marion; his parents, Sandra Key Hodges and her husband, John Hodges of Dobson, Ricky Marion and his wife, Malia Marion of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; sister, Aurora Hodges; brother, Zackery Hodges; step-sister, Tasha Hodges; step-brothers, Nolan Payne, Wayne, Skyler, and Christian Hodges; grandparents, JW and Frances Key of Dobson, Charles Richard Marion of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; Mr. Marion was preceded in death by a grandmother, Lucille Shropshire Marion; a step-brother John Payne. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with burial to follow in the Copeland Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Joey Jessup and Brother Kenny King will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of his service at 2:00 PM. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Adam D. Marion Funeral Fund, C/O Moody-Davis Funeral Home PO Box 295, Dobson, NC 27017.
