Mr. Akers Pack, age 79, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He was born on April 15, 1945, to the late Lester Pack and Nannie Holt Pack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Crissman Pack; one daughter, Lisa Pack; one son, Ronnie Pack; one grandson, Charlie Boyd; four brothers, Curtis, Odell, Robert “Cecil,” and Clyde Pack; two sisters-in-law, Rosie Pack, Doris Pack; and a special friend, David Hairston. Akers enjoyed working on lawnmowers, trucks, and gardening. He will be remembered for his hard-working nature and the love he gave to his family.

Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Pack are his two children, Heidi Leach (John) of Walnut Cove, NC and Oneal Pack (Vickie) of Lawsonville, NC; three grandchildren, Jacob Pack (Gracie), Brittany Bowman (Josh), Randall Lawson (Kimberly); four great grandchildren, Addison, Chloe, Bristol, Elina; one brother, Jesse Pack(Pearl) of Lawsonville, NC, one sister, Ruby Pack Simmons (Ricky) of Lawsonville, NC; two sisters-in-law, Janie Pack of Westfield, NC, Patty Pack of Lawsonville, NC; several nieces, and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 am in Aaron’s Corner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with Preacher Junior Tate officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palliative Care Forsyth, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
