Alejandro Valenzuela Lozano

Alejandro Valenzuela Lozano, 73, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday evening, February 20, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Alejandro was born April 22, 1950, in Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of the late Catalino Valenzuela and Hermelinda Lozano.  Alejandro worked as a maintenance technician at Carolina Carports for many years.  He is survived by his wife, Aida Gomez Gallegos; a daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Leonardo Hernandez; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Romelia Valenzuela; six grandchildren, Daniel F. Valenzuela, Leticia J. Valenzuela, Luis A. Valenzuela, II, Fernando A. Valenzuela, Leo A. Hernandez, and Logan A. Hernandez; two sisters, Adela Herrera and Maria Valenzuela; four brothers, Oscar Valenzuela, Carlos Valenzuela, Rafael Valenzuela, and Jesus F. Valenzuela; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Alejandro was preceded in death by a son, Luis Adrian Valenzuela; a sister, Celia Valenzuela; and a brother, Inosencio Valenzuela.  The funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Father Fidel Melo officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.   The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
