Alene Virginia Clement Johnson

Mrs. Alene Virginia Clement Johnson, age 84, of Kernersville, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Caldwell County on March 17, 1937, to the late Carlie and Lillie Inman Clement. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 68 years, Frank Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Faye and David Lawson; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Barbara Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Robert and Angie Johnson, Carl and Donna Johnson, Paul Johnson, David Johnson; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bob Manzie, Dorothy and Charles Lassiter; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Zoradale Clement. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Richardson, Bonnie Hooker; brothers, B.J. Clement, Lester Clement, Raymond Clement, Jessie Clement. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. D.C. Collins and Rev. Ed Bowman. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
