Alfred Columbus Guynn

Mr. Alfred Columbus Guynn, 90, of Cana, VA, passed away at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection, Monday, October 18, 2021. He was born in Carroll County, VA, August 20, 1931, to the late Jack and Dill McMillian Guynn. Mr. Guynn was a well-known farmer throughout the community and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his son Glenn Guynn; two grandchildren; a brother Leroy Guynn; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and a special great niece Brianna Dalton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Guynn was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Zetty Ayers Guynn; a daughter Susie Gail Guynn; a son Alfred “Bunny” Guynn, and an infant son Nathan Guynn; and siblings, Emmett Guynn, Janice Hiatt, and Esther Allen. A graveside service will be held for family and friends to gather at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 22, 2021, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Isreal Gwyn officiating.
