Mrs. Aline Lee Noah Duncan, age 69, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, at her home. She was born on May 16, 1951 in Surry County to the late Paul Franklin Noah Sr. and the late Nellie Margret Pack Noah. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. She was a sweet Indian lady. Left to cherish her memories are daughters and son in-law, Michelle Duncan and fiancé Tommy Smith, Melinda Duncan, Ann and Jimmy Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Michelle Duncan; grandchildren, Tiffany Westmoreland, Anthony Brooks, Aiden Duncan, Lindsay Duncan, Erick Duncan, Skyler Duncan, Amber Smith, Bradley Smith; four great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Noah Edwards; brothers, Arthur “Cowboy” Noah and wife Margie, Ray L. Noah, Benny D. Noah; her pet bird, Sweetie Tweetie. In addition to her parents Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband Junior Duncan; sister, Addabelle Noah and brothers, Paul Junior Noah ., Johnny Franklin Noah. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Doug Cockerham, Rev. Ray Hutson, and Rev. Jack Anderson. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am until time for the service at the funeral home.
