Allen Robert Cotton

Mr. Allen Robert Cotton, 78,of Cana, VA passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born in Herkimer, NY on January 31, 1940 to the late, Robert and Florence Strong Cotton.  Mr. Cotton is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Robert Hotaling; sons, Scott Cotton, and Brian Cotton; nine grandchildren; a sister, Cindy Cotton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Nancy Cotton, Carl and Jan Cotton, Kay Cotton; many nieces and nephew.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Cotton was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Cotton.  There will not be a service at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
