Allyson Taylor Akers

Miss Allyson Taylor Akers, 28, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.  She was born in Forsyth County August 7, 1989 to Rebel Steiner Akers and Shelly Caporlette Akers Spencer.  Left to cherish her memories are her mother and step-father, Shelly Caporlette Akers Spencer and William Spencer; her father, Rebel Steiner Akers; sisters, Carmen Spencer and India Akers; a brother, Wyatt Akers; grandparents, Joyce and John Nieschwitz, Jerry Caporlette; an uncle Bryan and Mickey Caporlette; an aunt Lindsay Holland; a niece, Rozlyn Akers, and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.  Miss Akers was preceded in death by her grandparents, Aura and James Akers.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Burial will follow in the James Monroe Hiatt Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday, at Moody Funeral Home and again at the church on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Moody Funeral Home to assist the family with the expenses.  They may be mailed to Moody Funeral Services, P.O.
