Amolene Bell Stanley Poindexter

Mrs. Amolene Bell Stanley Poindexter, age 87, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 2, 1937, in Carroll County, Virginia, to the late Cecil Martin Stanley and the late Gladys Hilmer Culler Stanley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Stanley; her sister, Aldis Brown; and her brothers, Larry Stanley, Clifford Stanley, J.C. Stanley, and Archie Stanley.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughter-in-law, Barry Dale Stanley, and Rickie Lee and Patricia Stanley; grandchildren, Corey Stanley, Candesia Kendrick, Raymond Stanley, Christine Stanley, and Brittany Stanley; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Stanley A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2024, in the Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darryl Vestal officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Kay Crouse, 105 Stratford Place, Dobson NC 27017. There will be no services held at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Stanley family.
