Andy Lee Hill

Mr. Andy Lee Hill, age 38, of Elkin, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020, at his residence. He was born February 13, 1981, in Surry County.  He is survived by his mother and step-father, Laura Owens Triplette and Walter Triplette; father and step-mother, David and Ann Hill; daughter, Willow Elizabeth Hill; brother and spouse, David Owens-Hill and Kieran McCaughey; sister, Parker Triplette; step-sisters and step-brothers-in-law, Chrissy and Brad Beasley and Amanda and Jason Bernhardt; grandmothers, Catherine Hill and Mildred Jones; nieces, Gracie Beasley and Brinley Bernhardt; several aunts and uncles; and a beloved cat “Lacey”. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buster and Argol Owens and Clarence Hill. Mr. Hill will be remembered as an extraordinary cabinet maker and chef. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson from 5:30-7:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Mount Airy NC 27030.
