Angela Newman

Mrs. Angela Cagle Newman, 55, of Mt. Airy passed away at her home Monday, March 16, 2020.  She was born in Surry County June 25, 1964 to Shirley Marion Cagle and Bobby Cagle.  Mrs. Newman was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She always greeted you with her warm smile and gentle voice.  Mrs. Newman will be lovingly remembered by her son, Austin Newman and fiancée, Taylor Chandler; her parents, Shirley Marshall and Bobby Cagle; mother-in-law, Norma Newman; her brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Angie Cagle; sisters and brother-in-law, Melody Cagle, Amelia and Doug O’Dell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Robin Newman; nieces and nephew, Adam Newman, Cory Newman, Lenzi Cagle, Evann Shellnut, Jesi Shellnut, Maggey O’Dell; Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Garnett “Joey” Newman; her step-mother, Runelle Cagle; and her father-in-law, Garnett Newman.  Due to the health concerns and limited number allowed at public events at this time, all services will be private.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
