Anita Joye Jones

Mrs. Anita Joye Jones, 58, of 12296 Fancy Gap Highway, Cana, VA, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Jones was born March 8, 1952, in Surry County, to the late Beola Jones. She was last employed as a salesperson at for Lowe's Hardware and was a member of Crooked Oak Moravian Church. Surviving are her husband, Ronald Jones of the home; three daughters, Stacy Reynolds and Allison Shaw, both of Cana, VA, and Hayley Jones of Raleigh; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Amber Shaw of Mount Airy; four grandchildren, Dalton Reynolds of Mount Airy, Reggie Smith and Riley Shaw, both of Cana, VA, and Conner Shaw of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Pompilio Perez of Cana, VA; and a brother, Tommy Easter. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 17, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Jones-Fleming Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Gary Easter officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at her home in Cana, VA. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Jones-Fleming Family Cemetery Fund, c/o Donna Perez, 1069 Wisler Drive, Cana, VA 24317.
