Anna Elaine Williams

Mrs. Anna Elaine Turner Williams, 89, of Ararat, NC passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mason County, WV, on July 23, 1932, to the late Simon Peter and Anna Blanche Rayburn Turner. Mrs. Williams was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to whom her family came first. She loved to be outdoors always finding a project to work on. She bowled for many years and worked alongside her husband. Mrs. Williams was a member of Black Water United Methodist Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Okie Ramey; a son, Ronald E. Williams; a daughter-in-law, Sally Barnes; grandchildren, Derek C. and Shawna Ramey; Evan Williams, Rhianna Williams, Christina and Daman Dobard; great grandchildren, Emmett and Jasper Ramey; a special niece, Malinda Sobe, and other many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Ray Williams; a great grandchild, Declan Ramey; sisters, Marie Stephens, Mary Garwood, Oma Lee Juniper, Ruth Lee, Bessie Gillispie, Letha Cogis; a brother, Eules Turner. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Peoples Church Cemetery with Doctor Jonathan Casstevens officiating.
