Anne (Holt) Wendorf

Anne Holt Wendorf, age 70, of Ararat, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday evening, January 11, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  Anne was born March 25, 1953, in Forsyth County to the late Alvis and Vernell Martin Holt.  Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Surviving is her husband, Fred Wendorf; two daughters, Nikki Spencer, Amanda Wendorf; three sons and daughter-in-law, Drew Dawson, Wesley Wendorf and wife Nicole Wendorf, Timmy Wendorf; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Alice Woods, Laura Powell; two brothers and sister-in-law, Phillip Holt, Eric Holt and wife Shanda Holt; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Terry.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Albion Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Pastor Ricky Easter and Fred Wendorf officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Albion Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
