Annie Draughn

Mrs. Annie Pike Draughn, 92, of Siloam, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, at Central Continuing Care in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Draughn was born March 18, 1929, in Patrick County, VA, to the late John William Pike and Martha Jane Collins Pike Brown.  Annie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse Draughn, Jr., the Rev. Wayne and Geraldine Draughn, and Becky Draughn; four grandchildren, Missy Lawhorn, Kari Brandt, Roger Draughn, and Billy Draughn; seven great-grandchildren; twelve great-great- grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Jane Brown; a nephew, Danny Draughn; and two nieces, Lisa Brown and Brenda Key.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Darughn was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Cleveland Draughn; a son, James Michael Draughn; two grandchildren, Crystal Walls and Tammy Draughn; a sister, Elizabeth Draughn; and a brother, Joe Pike.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Wayne Draughn and the Rev. Glinard Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Redeeming Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
