Annie Maurice Johnson

Mrs. Annie "Reecie"  Maurice White Johnson, age 84, of Dobson, NC passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  She was born in Surry County on June 18, 1935, to the late Coy White and the late Floya Corder White.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy M. Johnson, Sr.; son Billy M. Johnson, Jr.; sister Naomi Watson; brothers, Marvin White and Clifford White.  She was a Farmer and worked on the family farm, was a member of Copeland Baptist Church.  Surviving is her daughter and son-law, Debbie and Gregg Swaim; granddaughter and finance, Heather Taylor and Randall Williams; great-granddaughter, Maddie Taylor, grandsons Ryan Swaim, Patrick Swaim; sisters-in-law, Maudine and her husband Herald York, Gladys White.  A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2019, in the Cemetery of Copeland Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 PM until the time of her graveside at 4:00 PM.  The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd,. Dobson, NC 27017.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Johnson family.
