Annie Louise Spencer Fallin

Mrs. Annie Louise Spencer Fallin, 78, of Conover, NC, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, January 25, 2022, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir.  She was born in Surry County on May 26, 1943, to the late Patrick Lafayette Spencer and Annie Lee Fleemon Spencer.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.  After leaving the hosiery mill workforce, Mrs. Fallin worked as a CNA for many years assisting the sick in their time of need.  Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Bernadette Hodges; her son-in-law, Donald Montgomery; four grandchildren, Torie Montgomery, Christopher Montgomery, Laura and Jeff Tickle, and Bobby Montgomery; three great-grandchildren, Amethyst Montgomery, Coan Suttles, and Gage Tickle; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray “Bobby” Fallin; her daughter, Reashea Montgomery; four sisters, Betty Pulliam, Mary Belton, Pearl Howlett, and LeeNita “Lee” Brendle; and by three brothers, Isom Spencer, James Spencer, and Raymond Spencer.  A family gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 2:00PM at Midkiff Family Cemetery.  Memorial Service will be held at Hickory Church of the Nazarene.  Date and time are yet to be determined.  The family would like to thank the staff at Caldwell Memorial Hospital for all the love and compassion shown to Louise and her family during her illness.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Fallin family.
