Mr. Anthony Dale "Tony" Morris, 43, of 180 Laurel Creek Drive, Mount Airy, passed away Monday morning, March 1, 2010, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Morris was born July 18, 1966, in Fort Hood, TX, son of Hayward L. Morris and the late Juanita Ferrell Morris. Tony was the vice president of Applied Polymerics and was a member of First Baptist Church in Mount Airy. He is survived by his wife, Andi Huff Morris of the home; a son, Harrison Reid Morris of the home; two daughters, Caroline Jane Morris and Lily Grace Morris, both of the home; his father, Hayward L. Morris of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Kaye and Harry Nichols of Mount Airy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Mary Morris of Apex and Charles and Reesa Morris of Kernersville; his mother-in-law, Betty Huff of Mount Airy; his father-in-law, Jack Huff of Athens, GA; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jill and Billy Haynes of Watkinsville, GA. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Roger B. Gilbert and Dr. Jon L. Cawley officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens, with Masonic rites conducted by the Round Peak Masonic Lodge #616 AF and AM and the Renfro Masonic Lodge #691 AF and AM. The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until 2:00 PM in the Fireside Room at First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
