Ashley Glee Leonard

Miss Ashley Glee Leonard, age 14 of Cana, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007. Miss Leonard was born in Surry County, April 28, 1993 to Tracy Dowell Leonard and Danny Leonard, Jr. She was a student at Carroll County Intermediate and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Miss Leonard is survived by her parents, Tracy Leonard of the home; her father and step mother, Danny Leonard, Jr. and Kendra of Cana; sisters, Alexandria "Andria" Leonard of the home and Danielle Leonard of Cana; grandparents, Billy and Anita Dowell of Cana, Wade and Rhonda Leonard of Cana, Yolanda and Shirley Holt of Westfield; special friends, K.T. and Courtney Jones both of Cana; great grandmothers, Lou Leonard, Polly Easter both of Cana. Miss Leonard was preceded in death by great grandparents, Coy Easter, Rush Leonard, Talmadge and Rosie Dowell and Gladys and Alex Easter. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at New Beginnings Church by Rev. Wes Mosteller with burial to follow in the Dowell Family Cemetery.
