Audrey Delene Marshall

Mrs. Audrey Delene Collins Marshall, age 85, of Pilot Mountain passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Priddy Manor Assisted Living in King.  She was born November 23, 1932 to the late Elmer and Alice Neal Collins.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are daughters and sons-in-law; Linda Holland, Shelby and Clay Adams, Ava Cain and Dennis Crocker, Pam and Ed Burch; Son, Jerry Marshall and Mardi White; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and L.H. Mitchell; brothers and sister-in-law, Leon and Marie Collins, Keith Collins.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Marshall Jr. and two brothers, Charlie and Joe Collins.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Jerry Pardue and Brother Rodney Marshall. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the service.  Burial will follow in Rock House Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family would like to give a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of Priddy Manor and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care for all the love and care shown to Mrs. Marshall during her stay.  The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt Airy NC, 27030 or to Rock House Primitive Baptist Church C/O Geraldine Ahting, 1211 Keaton Road, Westfield NC, 27053.
