Baby Eli Thomas Koehl age 9 days of 414 Simpson Mill Road, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Thursday, October 7, 2011 at Brenner's Children Hospital in Winston-Salem. He was born September 28, 2011 in Winston-Salem to Charles Eugene Koehl and Tonya Marie Deppner. Surviving is his parents, Charles Eugene Koehl and Tonya Marie Deppner of Mt. Airy, maternal grandparents, Ed and Rose Gwyn, Mt. Airy; paternal grandmother, Betty Giles of Phoenix, AZ; paternal grandfather, Terry Koehl of Mt. Airy, paternal step-grandmother, Mitzie Koehl of Mt. Airy; paternal great grandmother, Karen Koehl of Yadkinville; several aunts and uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 10, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with Rev. Terry Longworth officiating.
