Barbara Jean Beasley

Mrs. Barbara Jean Hodges Beasley, age 62, of Claudville, VA, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born April 29, 1957 to Lottie Clement Hodges and the late George Gilmer Hodges.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are a daughter, Cora Beasley; grandson, River Beasley; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Tucker , Georgie and Ira George; mother and step father, Lottie and Temple Bowman; several nieces and nephews as well as several great-nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Gilmer Hodges.  Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private graveside service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery Claudville, VA.
