Barbara Jo Cromer

Mrs. Barbara Jo Pack Cromer, age 69, of Mt. Airy passed away on August 14, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Surry County on April 27, 1951 to the late Freddie Lee and Essie Octavia Lambert Pack.  She was a loving wife , mother and mema who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband Paul Henry Cromer of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Herman Edwards and Amanda Wall; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Susan Cromer; daughter-in-law, Nyoka Cromer; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sylvia and Junior Gwyn, Joann and Wayne Jones, Letty and Bruce Edwards; brother and sister-in-law, Otis and Jean Pack.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Cromer was preceded in death by a son, Paul Cromer; a grandchild, Ashley Cromer, sisters, Carla Edwards, Shirlene Poindexter, Vernice Edwards, Betty Edwards, Evon Lawson and Brenda Wagoner, brother, Vernon Pack.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Tru-Way Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Darrell Price with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time for the service at the church.
