Barbara Jean Martin Inman

Mrs. Barbara Jean Martin Inman, age 79 of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 17, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Surry County on December 23, 1938 to the late Pate and Lillie Brown Martin. She was a loving mother and had a love for the beach that she and Randy shared together. Mrs. Inman was a retired bookkeeper and of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish her memory are a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sandy McCuiston; two grandchildren, Zachary and Johanna Chandler and Kristen Chandler; a sister, Ruth Phillips; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Frank and Annie Mae Martin, and Eva Mae Martin; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Everett Cox. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brady Inman, and nine brothers, Ivan, Merle, Troy, Marvin, Olser, Doug, Leroy, and Roger Lane Martin. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00pm at Moody Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Dean Eaton officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Garden. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00pm at the funeral home.
