Barbara Inman

Mrs. Barbara Marion Inman, 80, of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the home of her daughter.  She was born February 2, 1939 to the late Marvin Franklin and Ruby Mae Chilton Marion.  Mrs. Inman retired from Spencer’s and was a devoted member of Woodville Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always placing the care of others before her own.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Wayne Matthews; a son, Danny Marion; grandchildren, Jeremy Durham, and Brandon Durham; great-grandchildren, Ayden Durham, and Rylee Durham; a sister Shirley Hicks; brother and sister-in-law, Arthur Gray and Doris Marion.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her husband, Newell “Bernie” Inman; and two brothers, Bobby and Don Marion.  A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, January 17, 2020 at Woodville Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Kilby and Rev.
