Barbara Jo Inman Persinger

Mrs. Barbara Jo Inman Persinger, age 68, of Ararat, N.C., passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born June 18, 1954, in Surry County to the late Beulah and Grady Inman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Charldean Tobert; and her brother, Freddy Ray Inman. Barbara was a loving mother, and spent her life creating cherished memories with her family.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Joe Persinger; her daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Benji Olson, and Heather and Eric Sechrist; her grandchildren, Erica and Garry Butler, Harlie and Tyler Hurst, Emily Sechrist and Curtis, Wyatt Olson, and Olivia Olson; and her great grandchildren, Audri Arnold, Chevy Arnold, Naomi Butler, and Vinny Hurst. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 29, 2023, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, with Rev. Roger Sechrist officiating.
