Barbara Jones Johnson

Mrs. Barbara "Bobby" Jones Johnson, 80, of Ararat, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Johnson was born October 7, 1929, in Surry County, to the late Arthur Jones and Alma Easter. She retired from Belk of Mount Airy and was a member of Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, Garland Johnson, Terry Johnson, and Eddie Johnson, all of Mount Airy; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a sister, Ardythe King of Cherry Valley, CA. There will not be a visitation or a memorial service. Memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
