Mrs. Barbara Ann Reynolds Pack, 72, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday morning, December 11, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Pack was born May 15, 1952, in Surry County, the daughter of the late James and Mary Jane Reynolds Goins. Barbara worked at Spencer’s Inc. for 29 years, and she later worked at Puckett’s Greenhouse. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lloyd Gene “Boss” Pack; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jeannette Goins (Mark Scales) and Lisa and Gordon Slate; her grandchildren, Cody Collins (Peggy), Anna and Statzer Burchette, Cole Slate (Sabra), Wyatt Slate (Makenzie), and Teresa Pack; her great-grandchildren, Rhett Smeltzer, Mya Hernandez, and Xavier Hernandez; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Patsy “Sissy” and David Hall, Linda Goins, and Bonnie “Kinkey” McHone; two brothers, Larry Reynolds and James “Junior” Reynolds; a sister-in-law, Dana Goins; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara Joann and John Pack; several nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Bailey Reynolds and Taylor Reynolds; special family members, Donnie and Mary Reynolds, Denise Slate, and Donnie Jones and Tiffany; special friends, Linda Goard and Ada Marshall; and a special dog, Piper. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pack was preceded in death by her special grandparents, Early and Jennie Reynolds; two brothers, Ronnie “Bub” Goins and Bobby “Buck” Goins; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elijah and Elsie Pack. No formal visitation or memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moody Funeral Servies in Mount Airy is serving the family.
