Barbara Kay Jenkins

Mrs. Barbara Kay Cockerham Jenkins, age 70, of Dobson, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She was born September 19, 1952, in Surry County to the late Albert Doughton Cockerham and the late Mary Bell Melton Cockerham. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Jimmy Dave Jenkins; her daughters, Denise Jenkins and Crystal Garcia; grandchildren, David Rubio and his wife, China Aqurodiz, Eddie Rubio, Casey Rubio, Jordan Garcia, Hailey Grace Garcia, and Joshua Jenkins; one sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Lacy Mayes; and several nieces and nephews. A church conducted Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM  Saturday morning December 10, 2022 at Second Chance Church, with Rev. Terry Coe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Moody-Davis Funeral Service is serving the Jenkins family.  There will be no services held at the funeral home.
