Beatrice Jane Bowman

Miss Beatrice Jane Bowman, 89, of Stuart, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Blue Ridge Nursing Center. Miss Bowman was born April 29, 1918, in Patrick County, VA, to George and Zilpha Montgomery Bowman. She was a member of Doe Run Baptist Church. Surviving is a special niece, Tammy Bowman of Walnut Cove. In addition to her parents, Miss Bowman was preceded in death by sisters, Leah Martin, Lena Bowman, and Vera Eaton, Josie Bowman; and brothers, Gaston Bowman and Guy Bowman. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at Doe Run Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Dean Eaton. No formal visitation will be held.
