Berlie Milen Goins

Mr. Berlie Milen Goins, age 79 of King, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Stokes Reynolds Hospital. Mr. Goins was born in Davidson County, May 10, 1928 to Henry and Laura Leftwich Goins. He was a retired painter. Surviving are daughters, Linda Neal; Judy Bowman and husband Ray all of King; Barbara Fallin of Roanoke, VA; two sons, Milan Goins of Big Stone Gap; Ernest Goings and fiancee, Brenda Michael of King; thirteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Goins was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Golding Goins and a granddaughter, Angela Lynn Yow. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 14, 2008 at King Memorial Park. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Home is serving the Goins family.
