Bessie Mae McCormick

Mrs. Bessie Mae Key McCormick, age 69, of Dobson, NC passed away at her home on Thursday morning September 23, 2021. She was born in Forsyth Co. on October 10, 1951, to the late James Monroe Key and the late Rosa May Holt Key. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Holyfield and Dale McCormick: her sister and brothers. Surviving is her husband Claude Odell McCormick; daughters and sons-in-law, Ginger and Eddie Bullins, April and RJ Holyfield, Jamie and Wesley Nelson, Amy and Ronnie Danley; son, CJ McCormick, Claude James McCormick; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM in the Dobson City Cemetery, Rev. Tony White will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday evening September 25, 2021, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
