Betsy Ross Watts Easter

Mrs. Betsy Ross Watts Easter, age 84, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday January 14, 2025, at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born April 24, 1940 in Surry County, to the late Garles Rupert Watts and the late Mary Alice Shelton Watts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Watts.

Left to cherish her memories are her beloved husband of 65 years, Ray Easter; sons and daughter-in-law, Ray Easter II and Greg and Melissa Easter; grandchildren, Elizabeth Easter, Amanda Easter (Alex), Iris Easter, Ben Easter, Lindsay Easter, and Riley Easter; great grandchildren, Lilliana and Nova Bowe; sisters, Mary Speaks, Dawn Hall, Linda Johnson-Marion, and Frankie Cave; her brother, Tom Watts; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Easter worked for 38 years for the Surry County Inspections Department, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Pastor Russ Billo and Pastor Larry Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Easter family.
