Betty Lou Hatcher Bright

Mrs. Betty Lou Hatcher Bright age 85 of 521 D Porter St., Mt. Airy, NC passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Bright and her parents, Harvey and Phoebe Dix Hatcher. She was a homemaker and was a member of Rockford Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are her special cousins, Polly, Chester, Julie, Lanie and Nicholas McMillian and her loyal cat companion, Nicky. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February, 25, 2007 at Oakdale Cemetery conducted by Rev. Rawley Amburn and Rev. William B. Randolph. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, Attn. Doris Fain, c/o Family Resource Center, 215 Old Jones School Road, Mt.
