Betty Jane Campbell

Mrs. Betty Jane Waller Campbell, age 81, of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, June 05, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Campbell was born in Davie County on April 13, 1937, to George Waller and Gladys Canner Waller Hampton.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.  Among the many who will always cherish her memory are daughters and a son-in-law, Laura and Kenneth Kirkman; Wanda Jean Hamm; grandchildren, Michael Campbell, Whitney Alderman and husband, Robert; and Cody Hamm; her precious great grandsons, Dixon and Elliott Alderman; sisters and a brother-in-law, Dianne and Carl Barber, and Joyce Spillman; and brothers and a sister-in-law, Jimmy and Susan Hampton, Johnny Hampton, Kenny Hampton.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Campbell and a brother, Robert “Sonny” Hampton, Jr.  The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Moody Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00.
