Betty Jean Dixon

Mrs. Betty Dixon, age 72, of Mt. Airy, passed away at her home on Friday, December 25, 2020.  She was born on October 15, 1948 in Wilkes County to the late Lawrence and Elaine Southern Anderson.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Roe Dixon of the home; son, Michael Wright; grandchildren, Karie Sinclair, Katie Wright, Nicole Murry and Perry Wright; great-grandchildren, Rodney Sinclair, Danny Murry, Canon Murry, Elinore Wright; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Jerry Lowe; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Helen Anderson.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Wright and a brother, Bill Anderson.  A memorial service will be held at a later date at Genesis Full Gospel Church.
