Betty Ilene Pack Edwards

Mrs. Betty Ilene Pack Edwards Age 58 of 295 Hunter Hollow Lane Lambsburg, VA. passed away Wednesday January 18, 2012 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Edwards was born April 6, 1953 in Surry County to the late Fred and Essie Lambert Pack, she was employed at Hanes Company and attended Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband George Edwards of the home, one daughter and fiancé Rebecca "Becky" Smith and Rusty Ring of Mt. Airy, three sons Billy Joe Robertson of Pine Ridge, Bobby Joe and Natasha Robertson of Lowgap and Jeremiah and Kristy Edwards of Lambsburg, eleven grandchildren. Soon to be two great grandsons Jackson Carter and Bentley Dean Jarrell, seven sisters and six brothers-in-law Barbara and Henry Cromer of Mt. Airy, Sylvia and Junior Gwyn of Mt. Airy, Letty and Bruce Edwards of Lambsburg, Evon Lawson of Pinnacle, Carla Edwards of Lambsburg, Brenda and Mac Wagoner of Mt. Airy and Joann and Wayne Jones of Mt. Airy and a brother and sister-in-law Leon and Jean Pack of Pinnacle. In addition to her parents Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by two sisters Shirlene Poindexter and Vernice Edwards and by a brother Vernon Pack. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church with services conducted by Elder Lacy Gates and Elder David Edwards with burial to follow in the Family Cemetery.
