Betty Vaughn Fulk

Mrs. Betty Jean Vaughn Fulk, 69, of Mt. Airy, passed away at Northern Regional Hospital, Thursday, September 23, 2021. Mrs. Fulk was born in Carroll County, Virginia on June 3, 1952, to the late Hasvil and Bertha Dean Vaughn. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her. Left to cherish her memoires are her husband, Hal Glen “Junior” Fulk, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Billie Reynolds Faux and husband, Adam; granddaughter, Abby Axsom and Josh Smith; great granddaughter, Kenzie Smith; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther Vaughn Robertson and husband, Gary; Peanut Vaughn Johnson and husband, Tommy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dannie Vaughn and Shirley, Dale Vaughn; half- brother, Arlis Thomas; several nieces and nephews; and cousins, Doris Dawson, Donna Bryant, W.L. Collins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fulk was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike “Tiny” Reynolds, two brothers, Dennis Vaughn, and David Vaughn; and special aunt and uncle, Veona Gunnell and Monroe. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at The Rock Jesus Tabernacle Cemetery, 202 Triple Cross Trail with Pastor Brad Atkins officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
