Betty Ruth "Bob" Hawks

Miss Betty Ruth "Bob" Hawks age 63 of 2114 Riverside Dr., Mt. Airy, NC passed away Wednesday morning, February 28, 2007 at Forsyth Regional Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1943 in Surry County to the late Dwight and Laura Puckett Holder She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathleen Sehen, of the home, Peggy and Rubin Gardner, Mt. Airy, NC, one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Peggy Hawks, Mt. airy, NC, two nieces, two nephews, several great nieces and nephews, special aunt, Lucille Riggans, White Plains, NC, Special friend and care giver, Bonnie Gwyn, Mt. Airy, NC. Numerous other family members were very special to "Bob". Bob was very honored to be a long time member of Oak Grove Baptist Church . Her Church family was very special to her as well. In addition to her parents, Miss Hawks was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Bobby Stevens and Jimmy Sehen. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 2, 2007 at Oak Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Alton Bledsoe. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
